The Being & Becoming Membership

Exploring the Leading Edge of Evolutionary Enlightenment

The Being & Becoming Membership is designed for practitioners of Evolutionary Enlightenment who want to engage with Andrew Cohen’s most recent teachings, be supported in their practice, and connect with other EnlightenNext Evolutionaries around the world.

Every year we receive many requests from people who aren’t enrolled in our intensive training programs but would like a way to stay connected with the spirit and community of EnlightenNext. The Being & Becoming Membership has been created to offer a more flexible and affordable way to hear Andrew Cohen’s most recent teachings, deepen your practice, and connect with other EnlightenNext Evolutionaries around the world. If you’d like to be involved in this way, the Being & Becoming Membership is for you.

Core Curriculum

Each summer, during the focused environment of the Being & Becoming Retreat, Andrew expresses his most up to date and refined articulation of Evolutionary Enlightenment. For EnlightenNext Evolutionaries around the globe these annual teachings are the pivot point of inquiry and engagement for the subsequent twelve months and leading up to next year’s retreat.

In the Being & Becoming Membership we take the ten most powerful topics that Andrew explores during the 2012 Tuscany Being & Becoming Retreat and transform them into monthly modules designed to deepen your understanding of Evolutionary Enlightenment. Through audios, study guides, and practice exercises these modules will both help you understand and practice Andrew Cohen’s most recent teachings. The we are still in the process of creating the modules for this year. To get a sense of the topics, we have listed the monthly modules from last year below:

  • October: Catalyzing the Evolution of Consciousness and Culture
  • November: The Three Step Process of Evolutionary Enlightenment
  • December: Spiritual Self Confidence and the Ultimate Source of Self
  • January: Spirit as Being and Becoming
  • February: Embracing Big Ideas
  • March: Clarity of Intention
  • April: Soul Strength and Stage Development
  • May: Intention, Volition and Attention: The First Three Tenets
  • June: The Five Tenets as Path and Goal
  • July: The Process Perspective and Cosmic Conscience

In August you’ll receive special real-time updates from the Being & Becoming Retreat in Tuscany Italy, and in September there will be calls and materials designed to carry everyone into the next year of the Discovery Cycle.

Each Module Includes:

  1. A 30-minute edited audio taken from one of the most powerful moments of the 2012 Tuscany Being & Becoming Retreat.
  2. An accompanying study guide that briefly describes the teaching and offers questions for contemplation to take your inquiry deeper.
  3. A practice exercise designed to help you apply the teaching to your life.
  4. Additional audios, videos, and/or articles to give you more material to expand your inquiry.
In addition to the Study Modules, you’ll receive

  • A short weekly teaching given by Andrew Cohen, recorded at a recent event. These are the same teachings used by all the EnlightenNext Centers around the globe for their weekly discussion groups.

  • Access to an online discussion group where you can connect and engage with other people in the Being and Becoming membership.

  • Access to the resource archives on our membership site, including archived teachings, audios, and videos, as well as blogs posted by other members.

  • There are no regularly scheduled live calls in this membership, as it’s emphasis is on self-study. However, there will be occasional members only calls (such as Spirit Is Higher Week) that you will be invited to join.

  • A PDF copy of the Evolutionary Enlightenment Guide to Practice, and the “Cosmic Chime” used to end meditation sessions.
    • Practical details:

    The Being & Becoming Membership is only being offered to current or past practitioners of Evolutionary Enlightenment at the reduced rate of one yearly payment of $385 or four quarterly payments of $100.

    Please note: Due to the reduced rate of this membership, you will not be able to take advantage of the “EnlightenNext Training Program Participant Discount (formerly called Practitioner Discount)” for EnlightenNext retreats.
