We are fast approaching one of our peak events of the year, EnlightenNext’s 3rd Annual Meditation Marathon! The Meditation Marathon is both our biggest fundraiser of the year and a profound occasion to deepen your meditation practice. Imagine sinking into the empty ground of all existence, letting the world fall away, and experiencing the perfection of letting everything go. Now imagine doing this simultaneously with hundreds of other Evolutionaries around the world for hours on end and you start to get a sense of this singular event.

This month in the Applied Training Program we are exploring the topic of Letting Go of Everything. On December 10, Enlightennext is holding one of our premier events devoted to this very practice – the 3rd Annual Meditation Marathon. You can join the marathon for any length of time you’d like, up to the full 24 hours. You can join as a participant, as a fundraiser, or both. Whatever way you choose to participate, the number one thing that people express after the meditation marathon is the surprise and delight in discovering how much longer and deeper they were able to meditate than they previously thought possible. Since it’s launch in September, Andrew’s new book, Evolutionary Enlightenment: A New Path to Spiritual Awakening, continues to garner growing interest among readers, the media, and the book industry. Here are a few of the many highlights:

• COVER SHOT: Andrew was recently featured on the cover of Publisher’s Weekly magazine, the largest and most well-respected publication in the book industry! See the cover to the right.
• MEDIA: Andrew has conducted nearly 50 media interviews over the past two months, including radio, print, online, and television. Here are two of the best: An interview on New Dimensions Radio and an in-depth interview in The Santa Barbara Independent, a California-based newspaper.

The past few weeks have ushered in many successes and new beginnings.

During launch week, it reached #1 bestseller status in several different categories on Amazon.com and sold more copies in one week than any single one of Andrew’s other books have sold in total!

This week, we also launched the upgraded Evolutionaries courses for our 2011-2012 cycle of development—the Applied and Advanced Training Programs. The first sessions of each of these courses were powerful introductions, and I can already sense that this is going to be a year like never before.

On the Horizon: Today Chris Parish and Mary Adams will lead a free conference call to start building momentum towards our 3rd Annual Meditation Marathon and will speak about their 35+ years each of spiritual practice. Also, in a few weeks you can join Andrew Cohen on one of two weekend Being & Becoming retreats in the United States or Europe.

The 2011-2012 EnlightenNext Evolutionaries Program
An Important Update

Each year we upgrade the EnlightenNext Evolutionaries Program to reflect the collective development that’s taken place over the past year, and to embrace the furthest edge of the teachings that Andrew articulates on the summer retreat. In October we will be bringing the 2010-11 Program (Levels 1, 2 and 3) to a close and beginning the 2011-12 program, which is comprised of two distinct training programs, described below:

• The Applied Training Program will be our main program stream for 2011-12. This is a yearlong course that is carefully crafted to hone your capacities to live Evolutionary Enlightenment and create real change in your life. Taught by four of our most senior teachers, featuring multiple conference calls with Andrew Cohen, using the most up-to-date teachings from Italy, employing our best mentors, and with course sessions every week, you’ll find the Applied Training facilitates and supports your development more directly and profoundly than any program we’ve offered before. Unless you are enrolling in the Advanced Training (see below),as a Level 1,2 or 3 EnlightenNext Evolutionary you will join this program when it begins on October 5.

  Please Note: because of the significant value we are adding to this program, many of you will see an increase in the price of your membership. You’ll be receiving an email this week describing this in detail, and no payment changes will occur until November. Please keep checking your inbox.

• The Advanced Training Program is an intensive course in Holonic and leadership development where participants will work closely with a small group of committed peers and a senior mentor. In order to provide the highest level of instruction, this course is being limited to 64 participants, and entry is by application only. For those of you who have applied, we will be in touch as soon as possible with the results.
