Universe’s Log / Earth Day 14,745,982,377.

Another totally amazing day! Today I finally pulled 300 of my conscious human female form cells into a higher stable cohesive whole!  Rather than reacting and pulling apart, I found I could finally hold together and lean into the center with all the forms.   I pulled up with so much interest for the Future, and was able to put just enough slack around the pull-back of the past and the history that has kept interfering with the emergence of this new equation I’ve been trying to produce.  This phase of the experiment had been so paradoxical and compelling.  But I knew – I just knew it! – if I kept plugging in the ‘numbers’ it would catalyze.   And it is – Heaven is happening!  Wow.  I’m totally in love with inventing such a bigger kind of Love.  So cool!  And feels so good…As well, so importantly, I think it will resolve some of those dilemmas and troubling outcomes that came out of the last phase.

So, yes, my project is going very well.  Taking significant steps forward.  Of course the next bit of time will be very important.  It is going to be so fascinating to see what factors and permutations continue to evolve next as I cultivate the culture.  Especially given the potentials that my science predicts.

Other highlights of the day include…

Blog Competition Submission – On Patriarchy

A Statement In Front Of My Sisters.

Perspective makes all the difference in the world.  How we interpret, make meaning, and understand reality ends up shaping how we relate to, respond to, and therefore create reality.

Let’s take a look at all those photographs of world leaders shaking hands (like the G8 summit, or the Trilateral Commission, or  Congress).  If you’re like me, one of the things you notice is it’s a picture of a handful of men getting together to broker major deals of global consequence.  Yah, and maybe there’s a couple of women somewhere in the photo.   What does this mean?

My earlier, younger interpretations went something like this:  It’s a man’s world.  It’s a boys club.  It’s Patriarchy, dominating the world to serve it’s own nefarious desires.

In the emerging field of transformational technologies (from The Landmark Forum, to Life-Coaching, to Evolutionary Enlightenment) one of the most consistently shared themes is shifting our position from a Victim/At Effect/Survival of life, to one that is profoundly Responsible/At Cause.

This fundamental shift moves us from the passive to the active position.  It’s not that we say that patriarchy is not real, or that abuse did and does not exist – we are not denying reality, just shifting our relationship to it, and paying attention to the difference between facts and meaning.  From this perspective I can say that, yes – most of the leaders of the world are men, and – what am I going to do about it?

A first step in ‘doing something about it’ is to notice all the ways in which I am whining and complaining about the situation (it’s oppressive that the work of raising children is not valued with money – what’s wrong with all these sick bastards that keep dumping toxicity into our environment just to make a quick buck – the G8 leaders look like a Darth Vader Convention, etc. etc…).  These ranting frustrations quickly fade in the face of the enormity of the question, what am I going to do about it?  What am I going to do about it?  What am I going to do about it?

And this is the question we are holding now, as women: How are we going to be full partners in creating the future?  How are we going to be equal players on the world- stage?  These questions evoke images – perhaps of a future when we will see photos of men and women equally represented in the halls of power…And it is right here that we’ve missed the mark.

In the Teachings of Evolutionary Enlightenment we shift the question, and ask  “What will it take for us women to be the shapers of culture?  What is needed for us to be the writers of history?” – and suddenly the game changes.  Because creating new culture and writing history requires doing something totally new – it is about pioneering something that has never existed before – it is creating a whole new order of things.  It is not about ‘reinventing the wheel’ and painting it with a Feminine face.  It is not about building up enough confidence to get in on the existing photo-op.  It is about building up enough confidence to go where no one (neither man nor woman nor consciousness) has gone before.

In the wide evolutionary perspective of Evolutionary Enlightenment I can recognize that I, as the Universe, have no desire to work to get into those older pictures.  What I really desire is to create the new social structure, the new politics, the new photograph that reveals an evolved, higher, more profoundly moral and intelligent reflection of culture and governance that serves the Whole.   The practice of Evolutionary Enlightenment reveals to me that ‘I the Universe’ want, and more so – need – to be the one who makes that old photo, like dinosaurs and Neanderthals, extinct; a wonderful snap-shot in Evolution’s scrap-book.

Andrew Cohen, in his courageous, relentless stand for women’s emerging potential (courageous because it is no small task to be a man demanding that a bunch of post-modern feminists Become greater than they think they can be) has said that it is only in profoundly coming together that we Women can achieve the outrageous results of pioneering, birthing, giving rise, ferociously creating a truly new future.  And I’m not alone in thinking he’s right.  So look around ladies.  It looks like we’re the Ones.  We have to hold the enormity of this undertaking together.  For it seems to be within the very nature of this ‘Higher Togetherness’ that the mystery and capacity of evolutions next great leap forward can be unleashed.

The Body of Eros

Take a look, at the top of this Blog page, at that magnificent image of Eros, shooting his arrow deep into the cosmos.  Powerful, graceful, athletic, beautiful.

It is a masculine form that is drawn there.  (Nothing wrong with that!)  And, I am very aware that the image is masculine and not feminine.   My awareness is partially due to the fact that I have become super interested in seeing Eros in her female form.  Why?  Well, for starters, that’s what I’m trying to embody – Eros fully unleashed in me, and in the culture between myself and others, with a very special and specific emphasis on the culture between me and my spiritual sisters.  Yup, I’m VERY interested in how Eros looks in the living female form.  And how does that expression go – art mimics life, or life mimics art?

A big moment for me in my own development with the teachings of Evolutionary Enlightenment was in contemplating, ruminating, and wrestling with the idea that Eros, the Ultimate Agent of Change, was a gender-neutral force.  My post-modern, goddess honoring, feminist logical reasoning went something like this:  Isn’t it just more patriarchy to say that this masculine trait of Eros is what we women don’t have very much of and need more of?  Don’t we need a more feminine world?  Look where too much masculinity got us!

This reaction was actually relatively easy to dismiss in search of deeper understanding.  Why?  Firstly, because cultivating my so-called feminine traits had not produced what I was looking for.  And secondly, because I cared less about what Eros was, and more about knowing that I just wanted it – this liberated, passionate drive to create totally new expressions and boldly, confidently stride through the world and culture fulfilling a capacity and a higher task that I felt I was given to fulfill – a capacity I was aching to express, that lived inside me, but that I could not get out.  Yes, that’s exactly what I want and what I had been looking for and what was really painfully not happening.   So, bring on Eros – masculinity and all!

And this is where it got interesting:  What’s that you say?  Eros is not a gender-thing?  It’s not feminine or masculine?  It’s the primal force of the universe creating itself, and it’s newest, best thing going is ‘consciousness’, and that is exactly what I’m feeling – I am the universe aching, pushing, reaching to express myself at a higher capacity and consciousness?  And I, as the Universe, want to know how to do this in my female form?….Wow…

And all these ‘feminine’ traits, which are good for some things and not so good for other things, are mostly culturally inherited grooves that have been passed down and evolving for eons, and morphing – for good reason – from one transition in our human development to another?  And Eros is the force of creation that has existed since the moment of the big bang? And if I can get all these conditioned habits out of the way, that liberated force of creation can run through me like a current.  And even more so, I am designed, completely, to be a conduit for it?…more Wow…

So, with sheer and utter delight, since we’re getting anthropomorphic with our imagery, since we’re busting up Myths, I want a female figure of Eros, shooting Her Arrow deep deep deep into the Cosmos, lighting the Universe on spiritual fire, igniting consciousness into an eruption of enlightenment.
